A Cynic View of Social Networking

I found this clip of a South Park episode that highlights some of the social implications of sites such as Facebook in quite a humorous manner. The video highlights friend numbers as a source of competition and social status, what constitutes a "friend" and the causes of information displayed in cyber space and the implications it may have in real world socialising. You may laugh, but you go to think: How many of these stupid generalisations do I fit into? Funny.
