Copyright Culture Becoming More Common?

Now that software and hardware technology has advanced so much more, piracy also has increased. Many get away with piracy and continue to. Is saving money the most important factor for downloading free entertainment? As our economic society increases prices, entertainment media is included in the price increases too. For many costs becomes too expensive. There are many different and ambiguous views as we know on the right and wrong of piracy and copyright. Industries understandably have opposing views on piracy and that is always a constant concern for their profits. There are campaigns that show comparison of stealing cars or people’s handbags while many believe it is not as extreme.

There are big differences between brought hardcopies of material objects like sharing a book or clothes or other material objects has its limits and only a limited number of users whereas copying digital content entertainment or otherwise is definitely not the same as endless copies can be made and passed on and continue so for a long time. As everyone already knows this most still download free material. The free and easy access may be the most tempting and desirable factor to downloading free music or movies etc... While piracy may not directly or physically harm others there will always be a loss of some sort. The entertainment industries continue to produce and promote anti piracy campaigns and copyright regulations but even that does not worry those who know how to get away with piracy. Still as humans in a rising costly society, since it is easier and cheaper to view free entertainment illegal or not is the most appealing factor and that may be the excuse for piracy. Surely everyone knows someone who does it. Judging whether it is right or wrong is no longer so simple as we know how common it is today.
